If you don't talk to me very often you may not know that I am proudly from Iowa!! To be exact I grew up in Burlington Iowa!! I love my hometown and long to go there often!! It is the most wonderful place in the whole country, there is no arguing with me!! It is a city nestled among the hills on the banks of the Mississippi River. It is the home to the Burlington Northern Railroad, Snake Alley (the curviest road in the country and its sibling is in San Francisco, same architect), Burlington Steamboat Days, Taco John's (love it!!), most of my family, and so much more!! I cannot tell you how much I love the whole state and am so proud that that was my home once!!
Why the reason for all the bragging??? Well as you can see I got to make some Iowa Hawkeye bows and it made me a little homesick.
Matthew is making me a Burlington wall of my favorite things from home so come on over and take a look sometime!!
Don't worry I also ordered U of I ribbon too but I am sorry to say that I DO NOT feel the same way about my current state....
