We had a smaller birthday party than we did with Belle but it was perfect! Our backyard is really 2 in one and has an above ground pool, we are lucky enough to be able to rent from Matthew's parents. So we had a backyard party, it was wonderful! At the last minute we decided to have a Rock and Roll party, like a week or so before, it was going to be a Hungry Hungry Caterpiller party. It was pretty chaotic to get the favors and all that I wanted to decorate with but I think it all came together just right!
Litterally the day before the party I came home to see a London shirt hanging on my door handle?!?! Someone (I later found out it was my friend Kari) had left my a perfect shirt for the party! I went to get another for Belle and Matthew made a matching for London. I reall wanted to have shirts for the party and this was perfect, thanks you Kari!!
Aren't they wonderful?!?! Matthew just used a Sharpie to make London's and I am super scared to wash it. It matched perfectly!
I made everything, all the decorations and the cupcakes! I just wanted it to be perfect and had tons of issues finding exactly what I was looking for!! 
So the cupcakes all were grey with red piping on them, they were devils food!! They were really yummy!! They all have 1's, L's, and stars on them. The skulls and cross bones were something I actually just had laying around! They were a sale find that I am glad I picked up!
This is a picture of all of us with our shirts! Aren't we cute?!?!?The little banner on the highchair I made, I had been seeing them around and they were a must have! It said "I am one" and then I made a different one to go one the table and it said "Happy birthday London". They were really cute and pulled the party together!!
This is London "blowing" the candle out, it was me really. He was super excited to get himself some of that cake!!
Here he is digging in!! He went in face first!! He didn't use his hands for the longest time, silly guy!!
Oh yeah!! I used grey icing and it got everywhere!! He fully enjoyed his first birthday cake!! I think it will become a tradition to let the birthday girl/boy have there very own cake!!
He is just covering himself! It was eventually dangerous and we had to stop him, it got inside of his nose! He loves him some cake!!
And being the "good" mommy I am I stripped him down and stuck him in the baby pool to rinse him off. He is going to hate me!! It was the coldest water and he just cried, bad mommy!!
But then we had presents and all was right again!! He got so much and was in love with it all!! He loves trucks and was excited to have more that one! The little boy is Logan, Janet's little boy, he is 9 months and bigger than London!
Here they are doing the only kind of "play" they know, poking eyes!! Babies are silly people!!
This was one of London's favorite gifts, a barking and crawling puppy! He just laughs and laughs!!
Finally.... Cleaning up from the party!! I had so many cupcakes left and couldn't eat them, ugh!! I am still dieting but will someday be done!!
