Update on my little business venture!!

I finally made a few sales!!! I was getting nervous but someone liked what they saw and picked a few up!! I am on my way!!
I am using my profits to order more supplies!!

The first of many!

This year I decided that we would give gardening a try! I have been seeing these Topsy Turvy planters and thought that would be a great place to begin. CVS had a sale on them and I got one for strawberries and one for tomatoes. Belle was pretty excited to do this all summer and see what we get out of this! We have a great local farmer market here, that is the actual store name, and I went to Brenda (one of the owners) and discussed everything that we would need to know to do this! She gave great advice and was such a big help!! So we chose everbearing (all summer) strawberries and cherry tomatoes. I didn't know that there were more than one kind of strawberry plants, but sure enough there are. They also have June bearing plants, they only have berries in the month of June. The reason we chose the cherry tomatoes because of my grandpa Gaul, he always had them in his garden and we would snack on them all summer!! So here are my plants....
The one on the left is my strawberry plant and if you look closely you will see the black arrow pointing to a green strawberry growing!! The one on the right is my tomato plant and there is no fruit yet but I see little flowers, I think that is the beginning of baby tomatoes!
Belle and I go water the plants everyday, when it isn't raining, and check to bugs and fruit. Today we got the first real strawberry, it was so beautiful!! There are more starting but this is the beginning of the fun!! Belle was super excited and could barely contain herself! She loves these plants just like they are her own and she is learning right along with me!! It gives us something to do together and we are going to have a great harvest!

Isn't this the cutest little strawberry you have ever seen?? I wanted to pop it right in my mouth but being the good mommy I am...

I let Belle have at it!! She said it was juicy and much better than Walmarts strawberries!! Yeah for what is to come. I think I get the next one :)
If anyone is wanting to garden, I would suggest those potter's, they are easy and fun for the kids too!! I have never gardened and know nothing about it and look what we are doing!!

Still in the saddle!!!

Ugh!! I am still dieting and I am seeing a difference it just is getting tiring! I am doing better than I was but I want to eat all of the time right now, lol!! So I am still dealing with self control!!
I lost 1lb last Friday and that puts me to 129.4lbs, not bad!! I like being in the 20's and I am fitting into clothing that I seriously never thought I would!! I need to buy all new under garments but I am not done nursing and I am still losing, so that is still on hold for now!! I am not going to hit my goal at the time that I wanted to but I am going to keep on keeping on!! I am getting more comfortable with myself and that really helps! So I am still going and finding new ways to do it! I have changed everything over to whole wheat and fat free!! I still occasionally have Coke and sweets!

Mother's Day gift......

Well this is a bit late, we had some issues with the seller. It was all worth it!! I love my new necklace!
Backstory...
I follow a ton of blogs and enter all kinds of contests to win free stuff. You all should check out the one's I follow, they have the best prizes! This is actually exactly like one that I signed up to win and didn't, I actually have yet to win anything but I know one day!!

Anyway....
I told Matthew that I really wanted a mother's necklace but I didn't want it to be like everyone else's. I told him of the few that I liked, I even sent him a link to one I really liked, and I told him about the one that I entered to win. I don't know how he did it but he got the exact one, I never showed him just told him about it!! He knows me so well, it is a great mother's necklace without actually being obvious!! I love it!!

Isn't is Gorgeous!?!?! I love the nest and the 2 little eggs!! I have two little babies and the momma bird is just perfect!! When Belle saw it she thought it was pretty, she loves bird nests, but then when I told her that she is one of the eggs she loved it!!

The issue we had with the seller is that it was shipped late and it was nowhere near the picture, it actually had an extra egg in the basket. I was a bit upset by it all and we had to pay for it to be shipped to them to have it fixed, ugh!! I thought they should have done something to make up for all of the problems we were having with them but nothing, so we won't be buying from them again but I still love the necklace and I will wear it proudly!! I just won't tell people to buy from them!!!

Thank you to my very loving hubby!! It is just perfect for our little family!! I love you and am happy that I am the mommy to your little birdy babies!!

Weight loss...

Well I haven't been able to post in a few weeks for 2 very different reasons! One was the fact that we have had so much sickness in our home and it jsut isn't going away, ugh!! The second reason is the fact that I am struggling with my weight loss and I really can't understand why or how. I gained weight last week and this week is not looking to great either! I am eating within my points and getting some, not a ton but some activity! I have been lower on the activity due to London and I being sick for the last 2 weeks. So I gained 0.4lb, not a ton but jsut enough to make me feel bummed about it! I want to do good and I work really hard at eating right and being active but one little hint of disappointment and I feel like giving up, but I am not giving up and I am still eating right!! So I am saying that I am still chugging along and not happy about it, lol!! I want to feel good about my self image again and I know that hard work even when I am down about it is the only way to get that!! I am still learning that lesson and if I don't get to be where I want then I will be robbing myself of this lesson!!
