Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!! We have had a great time celebrating with our family and our newest little man! He is getting more and more fun everyday! I love spending time with him and Belle more and more everyday! I can't thinks of anything more I would rather be doing with my life than be with them and Matthew! I am so thankful for them and the opportunity to be a stay at home mommy! I really think it is a blessing that I get to do this and that I love it!
London is now 5 months and is really getting a little personality! He is laughing more, especially at his sissy Belle! They really love eachother and I can only hope to see that all through their lives! Belle insists on giving him a morning hug and goodnight hug and I think London loves them! He just smiles and jumps around! He is so happy all of the time, at least when I am around! He has a bit of a seperation anxiety when it comes to me! I have a confession though, I like that he loves me that much and only me! He is growing up so fast and I know it is only a matter of time before I take a back burner to other people! He has rolled over both ways but has only done that a few times, such an opposite from Belle! Once she did anything she was going from that point on! He is making raspberries and usually at someone who he wants their attention! Tonight it was Guthrie our dog! I thought it was daddy but Matthew said it was Guthrie! Guthrie slept through the whole thing, he missed out! He is sleeping better at night, thank goodness! That is the hardest thing about babies if you ask me! I just couldn't picture my life without him! Also he is a thumbsucker!!!! I am so proud, lol!!! I think it is just too cute!

Halloween Fun...
Belle wanted to be so many different people this year, it was so hard to choose and I wanted her and London to have a theme. The McFadden girls were going as Disney princess's so I thought that would be a great theme since Belle loves to dress up as them anyway! I convinced Belle to be Snow White and then London could be Dopey Dwarf. We later found out that my newest Niece was going to be her too so it was only fitting to get the two a pic together. In this pic London is not having a great time, at the end of photo time! So this is Dopey (London) and Little Snow White (Ellie). They are two and a half weekd apart.
This is Belle and London. I made his outfit and really had fun doing it! I got Belle's costume from a friend. It was an old dress up outfit and it was really damaged so I fixed it up and added some items to it! I think it looks better than an old Walmart costume! All in all I think I payed $16 for both, all the items! I think that is pretty good and I'am pretty proud of that!

This is all of the kids we Trick or Treated with! Aidan Lemey an Ewok, Charlie McFadden as Belle, Ellie McFadden as Snow White, Mattea McFadden as Ariel, London as Dopey, and Belle as Snow White. They had so much fun and ate way to much candy! I am so glad we did this and hope we can again other times, I am not sure every year but sometimes! The kids really like playing together! Janet brought her 3 also but I don't have pics yet, bummer! They were 2 little Japanise girls in Kimono's and Logan (the newest little man) was a Ninja, how cute is that!!! Just a little note ~ Janet is a third Japanise so it is super cute they got to dress this way and they were all really cute!

School Days
Arabella has started Pre-k this year and we are all very excited! She went to Open House and met her new teacher, Mrs. Jennings. She really likes her and said she was "really cute". I don't know where she gets that from?:) In the above picture she is showing her name on the wall outside her classroom at Open House!
This pic is Belle at one of the desks, she is super excited about this as you can see!
This is a reading corner and it is a tent that has pillows in it! She spotted this as soon as she came in the room. She loves to read and will spend plenty of time in the tent!
We had to turn in several forms to the office and she loved the little chair. Little did she know this was the chair you sat in if you were causing trouble and needed a time out! So Matthew took a picture of her sitting just in case she gives us trouble later, I don't really think she will.
This is the first day of school. She has her Dora backpack and is all ready to go! I was so nervous and she was cool as a cucumber! She gets that from her dad! She had a really great day and wanted to go back as soon as she made it home!Sunday, August 30, 2009

London 2 months...
" Look at my cute little smile, I do it all of the time! I smile at anyone at anytime. I can guarantee you see one while I am getting my diaper changed or eating! I jsut can't stop, and mommy doesn't really want me too! I have also found my voice and I use it all of the time, day or night! I hold my head much more steady, which mom and dad like~far less headbutting!!!"~London is 2 months in this picture and has quite the personality, he is so happy and pleasing! I have found that he is far different than Belle, easier going than she is, that is the girlie in her ~ poor thing!!! He is very soft hearted and everytime lately when Belle cries he makes the cutest pouty face and sometimes cries. I know that they will be the best of friends (on most days). We have been getting less and less sleep due to him takling at all hours and are going to try to move him out of our room tonight, wish us luck!! I am nervous because Belle is a wonderer and will probably wake him up at night, ugh!
~I am doing well.... I am helping to plan a womens day at the local camp for the second year, I am having way more fun this year at it, we know a bit more of what to do! God has been so wonderful in giving me great women to work with. The day is on Joy and Deanne Mott is going to speak at it, just got to love her!! I have decided to sell Avon and am having a lot of fun doing this!! We needed a bit more money and this is proving to be a nice source! I am still very new and have a hard time finding enough time to do this, but in due time it will be easier! Belle is starting pre-k this Monday and is really excited! She has a wonderful teacher, the best in Flora, and we are confident that she will enjoy school! I am only alittle sad that she is going, I think she will have so much fun and make new friends. I have also started making diaper cakes and am talking to a store in the next town over to see if they will let me sell them there, we will see if anyone likes them?!?! I have a pic of one on my facebook if you want to see one, I think it is cute and have made a few more lately, I really enjoy it and think that people would love to have them at a baby shower. Anyway thought I would update you all in the second month of my new little (who is not so little anymore) boy!!!

anniversary...
Funny other comment that I was happy we all were alone for...
We were watching for the meteor's to happen and Belle was getting tired so we decided to talk about what little astronomy we know. I pointed out the Milky Way and what the Milky Way was. She stated very matter of factly, "Mommy, your buttons have milk and that is how you feed brother, huh?" I was so happy it was just our family! I told her yes and that it was not really milk up in the sky. I love how she is learning so fast and that her little ism's are getting more and more intelligent! She is just a joy to be around these days.

The birth story...
I had to be induce due to the fact that my doc was going out of town on vacation and I was not really willing to deliver with a different doc if I didn't have to. So on the morning of the 17th we went into the hospital at 6:30am. I was ready for a long day! I was imediately hooked up to the pitocin, which I really didn't want! I had it with Belle and it was so painful!!! I was dialating slowly, like hardly at all! By noon I had my water broke, which was weird!!! Last time it just naturally happened! Then it all went really fast! I had no pain until then and needed pain killers!!! They gladly gave me all I asked for but first I sat on the birthing ball, that was amazing!!! I loved it and it really relaxed me until the pain got to bad! They called the anastesiologist but he was in surgery so they gave me a med throught the IV and then he came so I got both at the same time! I was really loopy when he was giving me the epidural and he was talking to me. He told me for some reason, I really don't know, that his 30 year old brother still dressed up as a star wars person and I made fun of him! While he is sticking a huge needle in my spine I was making fun of his brother for being nerdy, I am brave and stupid at the same time!!! But he was laughing and having fun with me and he did a really great job! I felt no pain until London layed on a nerve and pinched it. I labored for a few hours and then told the nurses that I thought I was ready and they really didn't believe me. They checked me and much to there surprise I was complete and ready to push! They called my doc and he was right there and he calmly sat down on the bed and told me I would push a few times just to see what was going to happen. Then he got this terrified look on his face, I was terrified!! I asked him what was wrong and he said I am not ready and the baby was for real coming and I had to wait! Are you kidding me?!!?? That was the longest 5 minutes of the whole labor! So I pushed for a total of 10 minutes but it took 15 minutes. London was perfect and had the softest cry! He had a full head of hair, Belle did not! We were so excited that we forgot to tell the family that was waiting for info anything! I held him right away and can honestly tell you I really haven't put him down. I love him like crazy and am very thankful for a healthy baby boy and 3 year old girl!
We are blessed!!!!

Baby Shower!

This is the cake, wow! I loved it and wish I could have eaten more! This is all hand done too. They are really talented!
This is me and the cake. I have gained 24 lbs. I gained 55lbs with Belle and will not be doing that again! I am pretty proud with the amount I have gained, I still feel huge though! I am 34 weeks here.
This is my sister-in-law, Adrien and mother-in-law,Sherry. They also helped with the shower and are amazing women to be related to! I truely love them, even though we are not the kind of family that openly says that!
This is all who helped in throwing the shower, I have great friends and family! I am so thatnkful for them all!
Here is the funny part, we all are pregnant, at the same time! Emily Lemey, Adrien McFadden, Janet McFadden, and Me! Emily is 8 weeks, Adrien is 31 weeks, Janet is 20 weeks, and I am 34 weeks! the two McFadden ladies and I did this when I was pregnant with Belle! Our children are very thankful we all did this, they love eachother! Our husbands, I really don't know that they enjoy this?!

Dress-up!

Arabella has entered a really fun time in her childhood, playing dress-up! I love this because she has such a great imagination! Most of the parties she goes to for her friends are dress-up and she takes full advantage of these! The weekend of the ladies retreat she had a b-day party that was a dress up one. She wanted to be a fairy, I was shocked she usually wants to be a princess. So we had gotten a costume at a garage sale a few years ago and I made hair ties to match. She looked so much like a fairy and wore the costume all day. This pic is Belle and I after I got home from the retreat, 30 weeks pregnant. I was very tired and still had to be awake! Sometimes I wish it was before we had kids and I could sleep all I wanted but I would miss so much!

Ladies retreat...
For the last 17 months, I think, I have been on a commitee to plan the ladies retreat that happens at Oil Belt Christian Camp. It has been really neat to plan and the see it through. The theme this year was "See I am doing a new thing, Spring Up!" Isaiah 43:19. The retreat has always been in the fall and the last few years has really been a flop, only 40 women would come on Saturday. We wanted it to be new, different, and something women really wanted to go to. This pic is the planning committee members, there were different ages, life experience, and thoughts! On April 18th we had the retreat and over 300 women came!!!! I count that as a success! We had workshops that you could attend 4 times during the day. I ran a workshop 2 times on "Organizing your Life". I had so much fun doing that and got great feedback! We also had a main speaker from Louisville, KY. I just could have listened to her all day! She really made me miss you Lindsay! We also hired a worship band that was really great! I think all in all we changed what wasn't working to something that is working! At the end of the planning and before the event took place I kept saying that I am not doing this next year, so exhausting! I think I changed my mind when I saw all of the women worshipping together and having a great time. Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Friday at the park with Belle

Belle and Matthew came to Olney with me for my doc appointment and there is a really fun park that she loves to go to! So this is her arriving at the park ready to play! Matthew took her to the park while I was at the appointment.
This is Belle at the skate park, plenty of space to run! She really loves to run!

Belle is really getting big! I love that she is so independant! She is also very fearless! I wish that I was at some things! Kids don't see anything that could hurt them, if only we could be this way as adults! Sometimes I feel that I think of all of the things that could go wrong. Maybe she could help me!?

The doctor appt...
On the plus side I have only gained 16 pounds!!! I gained 55 pounds with Belle and really swelled bad in the end. I knew with the second I did not want to have that happen again! I have been really trying to keep it under control and was pretty sick in the beginning. I am feeling really heavy and tubby but Matthew said that when you look at me from behind I look pretty normal! I was so thatnkful for that and thought it was really sweet of him, he is pretty good to me! So this is the update... all is good and going better!

A little update on me....
A Trip to Childrens hospital in St. Louis, MO!

Belle has had a tough year with her health. Since Christmas day she has been battling Urinary tract infections. We found out on Christmas night that she had her first, not uncommon with little girls during potty training. We had just finished with potty training so the timing was normal, no worries. She got antibiotics and we worked harder on how to behave with wipping and all that. We had gone to the ER that night and had a follow up with our regular doc in 5 days. She was tested again and still had an infection, not as bad but different. She had E-coli and needed a different antibiotic, so we did this. A few weeks went by and she complained again about her potty hurt and she was going more frequently! Off to the doc we went, she had another one or did the first ever go away, who knows? So another anitbiotic, ugh! She then began to potty about every 3 minutes, too many times for a sane person to watch there 3 year old endure! I was finished we needed a specialist and the ones in our areas are not pediatrics and they will not see children so I called the Childrens hospital in St Louis. I got her an appointment the next day and off to St Louis we went. We were nervous and could only think of the worst with Belle, including diabeties!
When we got to the hospital it was so amazing and Belle loved it! It is all for children and so much fun, I wish ever doctors office could take some pointers from them. We were seen so fast, she got an ultrasound, and diagnosed with in an hour! I was so impressed. They told us that due to all of the infections she was holding her potty and only letting a little out at a time, so it didn't hurt. Ok? How do you keep a 3 year old from doing that? They gave us another better antibiotic and she has to be on it for 3 months. Through this she will not get an infection and she will train herself to go all the way! There was nothing physically wrong with her. She has and is doing so much better. I was so happy and relieved so we made a day of it in the city. Belle loves the city and especially the arch so that is where we went. She called it the big rainbow and we went to the museum. The one below the arch is amazing! She loved it! Then we went to a coffee shop and she felt like a big girl and ate her pretzles and drank her juice so well!

We also went to Mcdonalds before we got in the city and a creepy Ronald was there. Oh my!

Belle infront of the Arch. She had such a good day!

Belle at the coffee shop. Such a big girl and really she loved it!
Really the day was great and she was so good for it all! I felt really blessed that she was ok and everything was fine. I had never really had a kid who was sick and I didn't know what I was going to do. I knew that God was going to take care of her and that she was going to be fine but you know over reactive mothers! We are through it all almost and she has done just fine. I think she will always think of this day as a happy one and that is just fine with us!
My Admirer Banquet
The March event was a "Daddy Date" which we called a My Admirer. We have a few girls in the church who don't have a dad or whatever the case so we called it My Admirer. I thought this was cleaver because we needed something cute that invited not only dads. I have also heard My Hero, which I hope to call it next year. I like that more but it was after it was all said and done. Matthew had to be out of town and Belle asked her grandpa to be her date. She was very excited to go on her first real date! She got dressed and I did her hair and grandpa picked her up at our door. The evening was dinner, some games, and a movie! She still talks about her date with grandpa and going to see Mulan. We had to find a father daughter movie, this was one of the only choices. Disney fathers are usually mean, not there, or fools. I guess that is the thought of dads these days, I don't really agree! Without Matthew we would be far from a happy family, he is definetly our rock! FCC has very few fatherless girls. Alot of the church is still married, which is pretty amazing! Belle and one other girl, who just wanted to go with her grandpa, her dad lives at home and they are close, were the only ones that had people other than there dads. I thought this was really neat, to see so many dads involved with there daughters! We had 13 couples and this is from age 3 to 18 years. Even the highschool girls had a good time. I hope that we gave an example to what you should be doing with your daughters as fathers. We are trying to think of a good way for mothers and sons to do something but have yet to think of anything really good. We will just will take time!
Childrens Ministry at FCC!
The girls had so much fun! Belle went as Cinderella, she loves her the most! Mattea went as Barbie Princess. Charlie went as a pink princess, Belle called her Sleeping Beauty, funny! Our childrens department is a castle theme and we took pics in front of the castle.
I wish I would have gottena boys pic, they were all really dressed up too! Everyone looked so cute! For the boys we read Will~God's mighty warrier.
We have an intern named Alicia from LCC, which is really funny for me! She is doing such a great job and I am learning so much from her! I hope that we keep her when she is done and she wants to stay! I think the kids are getting so much from her and this will benefit the youth in our church so much. Friday, February 6, 2009
It's a BOY!!!
Arabella went with me and Matthew unfortunetly had to work, self employed bummer! I was really nervous because she is 3 and for everyone who has had a 3 year old you know they are at times unpredictible. I am now at home with her full time and have no other option and I have been telling her we are going to see the baby and when we do you will get to go. I just couldn't take that away from her. I am so glad I did take her, she was wonderful! I packed a little goody bag and told her what was going to happen and that we couldn't take her to the potty, get her a drink, or get her a snack. I am one proud momma, she sat and played and looked at the screen and really was good, sorry I know I keep saying that over and over again! Any way the baby is healthy and breech. His feet are facing down and his head is in my belly button, I am not surprised. I have been getting kicked in places I was not kicked before. Belle was always in the "right" position and she kicked in the sides. His name is already picked and had been since Belle. London Callin Kuhlig. Belle was bummed for only a minute but she was later very excited and picked an outfit out for him at Walmart after. She picked one off of the clearance rack and it was $2, that is my girl! I also let her pick out a toy for being so good, she was not aware that she would be getting treated until after. She had a great day and all the way home we sang London Bridges, funny huh? We are thrilled and have a lot of shopping to do, my fav!

Christmas with the girls...

This year we took all 5 girls to see Santa, you have to feel for the guy! Only one girl was scared of him, Charlie. She was very freeked if she turned around and saw him again. All of the other girls were fine with him and this was the best we could get. In each one there was at least one girl that was silly looking. We were so caught up in how they looked we forgot to look at Santa, I think he looks a bit frail. All in all I think it was a good experience. Next year there will be 7 kids. I am expecting and Adrien is too. We are 3 weeks apart, how funny is that?! I thought it was a fun thing that there will be two of them at the same age.

Ok we are late on this but here we go!
Arabella turned 3 on December 11th. We had a party for her and it was a costume party, she loves to play dress up. Belle was Ariel, a costume I made for Halloween. All of her friends were there and it was an Ariel party. We had a bouncy house and a ball pit, both borrowed and well worth the fuss! She had an Ariel cake and loved it. In this pic she is dancing with her cousin Mattea. Everyone looked great!
I was very sad and excited to have a 3 year old, where does the time go? She is amazing and so smart. She is finally potty trained it took us about 2 weeks total for day in about another week she was trained for night. We have had very few accidents and I can't believe she was so easy. We just waited until she was ready and I am so thankful we did!
Belle is really excited that she is getting a baby in the summer. She is really hoping for a girl, for her sake I am hoping too! She tells us ever night "don't forget the baby!" She is going to be a great big sissy!
I am doing ok now! I have been really sick and sometimes still I find myself sick. We are making it through this and in February we find out what the gender is, yeah! We have names picked but are waiting to unvail when the gender is definately.
Oh and I quit my job at the hospital. I was so stressed and unhappy! I can tell you all the truth, I hated it there. The job was seriously different then it was only months ago. We have had tons of personnel changes in the management and administration. It is going in a direction that I don't really want to be a part of; backstabbing, gossiping, and all kinds of things. So there it all is in a nutshell...
